Fernando, of Preferred Home Inspections, Inc., has considerable experience when home building problems that end up in lawyer’s offices - Fernando has experience in Montgomery and Harris County courtrooms.

His services have been utilized by both builders and homeowners because he performs a fair and impartial forensic inspection. He will perform a general or specialized inspection and write the report based on his findings.

in the past, he has been hired to be an overseer during a third-party inspection and in the course of these lawsuits, has had his deposition taken several times.

He has helped homeowners recover several million dollars in awards through both the court process and arbitration in cases involving  both mold, stucco and  improper building practices. He has protected builders from homeowner fabrications.

The base charge for courtroom or law related work is $900 for 1/2 day consisting of 4 hours. Work is performed in 1/2 day increments.  Reading documents to prepare for court or reading depositions at a much lower rate, to be discussed.
