We diagnose each and every house thoroughly from the roof to the slab (or underneath the slab!)

• Foundation - in addition to a visual inspection, we will use our digital water level in every exterior wall to determine how level - out unlevel - the slab is and why.
• Roof - a one story roof that can be will be climbed for an eye-level view.  Two story roofs, depending upon cirumstances, will be accessed from a window, if possible.  Otherwise, bincoulars are utilized.
• The attic space, containing mechanicals, will be accessed.  The HVAC, furnace, ductwork, ventilation, insulation, fireplace chimney, bathroom duct are all checked in addition to any irregularities.
• HVAC, furnace, water heater - are looked at with a decerning eye.  The a/c (HVAC) is turned on in the cool mode so that temperatures can be taken to assure the unit(s) is both working and working properly.  The heater is turned on, if the pilot is lit, so that we can determine if it is safe and has no carbon monoixde.  We also look for proper installation according to the International Residential Code requirements and fire and safety codes
• Plumbing - bathrooms, kitchen, faucets, dishwasher are all checked for leaks, proper installation, etc.  We also use our infra-red camera (no extra charge) to look for water leaks inside walls.
